Jaelin Dollretta Kent – Tajé Yáli (Good wind)

Along with serving as the Chair of the Cultural Committee, Jaelin also serves on the Budget Committee and is the Director of Procurement for the Kaw Nation. In her free time, Jaelin enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, and participating in a variety of outdoor hobbies.

Jaelin’s goal as Chair of the Cultural Committee is to aid in the preservation and promotion of the Kaáⁿze culture for today and future generations.

Jaelin is the daughter of Kelly (Test) Garrison and Thomas Kent, the granddaughter of the late Carol Estes and John Test, and a great granddaughter of Dollretta Clark Estes, Maudie McCauley Clark Rowe, Tah-Jah-Me McCauley and Chief Allegawaho.

 

Keesha Vicchio

Keesha not only serves as Vice Chair of the Cultural Committee but also has been with the Kanza Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician since 2019. In her free time, Keesha enjoys visiting the lake, spending time with her family, and traveling to see her son in the Air Force.

Keesha is the daughter of the late Carol Estes and Jeff Hansen, the granddaughter of Dollretta Clark Estes, and a great granddaughter Maudie McCauley Clark Rowe, Tah-Jah-Me McCauley and Chief Allegawaho.

 

Kelly (Test) Garrison

Kelly has a strong passion for preserving the Kaáⁿze culture, she worked alongside Justin McBride and Dr. Robert Rankin as a Project Member compiling research for the “Kanza Language Project”, a language preservation project. In her free time, Kelly enjoys traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Kelly is the daughter of the late Carol Estes and John Test, the granddaughter of Dollretta Clark Estes, and a great granddaughter of Maudie McCauley Clark Rowe, Tah-Jah-Me McCauley and Chief Allegawaho.

Candy Clark

Apart from serving on the Cultural Committee, Candy is also a part of the Kaw Nation Princess Sorority, as have served as the Kaw Nation Princess 1993-1994.

In her free time, Candy spends time with her children and travels to powwows all over the US.

Candy is the daughter of the Florence Clark and the late Elmer Clark, the granddaughter of Maudie McCauley Clark Rowe, and a great granddaughter of Tah-Jah-Me McCauley and Chief Allegawaho.
